Easter Season Reflection

Picture
Easter is not just a day - it is a season of celebrating, lasting 50 days, reminding us that Jesus Christ has risen.

As we continue in the spirit of Easter, we are reminded that Christ's resurrection is not just a moment, but a promise that lives within us every day.
Let us carry this hope into the month ahead - choosing faith over fear, love over division, and light over darkness.  May our lives reflect the joy of the risen Christ in all that we do.

Easter Breakfast - April 5th 2026

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated members of the Knights of Columbus and their families for their hard work, generosity, and commitment in hosting the Easter Breakfast for our SJV parishioners.

Through their time, effort, and spirit of service, they have created more than just a meal.  They have brought our community together in fellowship, joy, and celebration of Easter.  Their dedication truly reflects the meaning of service and unity within our parish.

Thank you for making this special tradition possible and for strengthening the bonds of our SJV family.

Easter Vigil Mass

Picture
During the sacred Easter Vigil, we begin in darkness as the Paschal Candle is lit, symbolizing Christ as the Light of the World. As the flame is shared from one candle to another, the light spreads throughout the church, reminding us that the light of Christ cannot be overcome. May we carry this light into our lives, sharing the hope, love, and truth of God with all we encounter.
